Private tuition is designed for families who want individual attention and a richer programme than a conventional weekly language lesson. The tutor comes to the family home with a plan based on the child’s present Greek, age, interests and family background.
The lesson combines spoken Greek, literacy where appropriate, a carefully selected story or heritage theme and an activity that makes the material memorable. The final minutes are used to give the parent a concise handover and one practical way to continue the week’s Greek at home.

10 minutes — Greeting and retrieval
Natural Greek conversation and recall of the previous week: what the child remembers, can say and can recognise.
15 minutes — Reading, phonics or writing
Literacy work selected at the child’s actual level, without allowing worksheets to dominate the visit.
20 minutes — Core heritage story
A book, myth, historical episode, place or family theme, taught through questions, clues and retelling.
20 minutes — Active cultural task
A map, game, craft, food activity, music, role-play or another practical way to use the week’s Greek.
5 minutes — Personalised practice
A small digital or language task for the week, used as reinforcement rather than a substitute teacher.
5 minutes — Parent handover
One clear update and one low-effort family or grandparent activity to continue the language naturally.
